Kathleen is a single mom of 2 teenagers raising them alone since 2007.
Her daughter Alaina is 18 and a freshman attending John Cabot University in Rome, Italy with a double major in English Literature, Psychology, and a minor in Legal Studies.
Kathleen’s son Colin is 15 and a freshman at Montini Catholic High School in Lombard. He plays football, baseball and is a cellist in the band at Montini. Outside of school he pursues downhill skiing, martial arts, fencing, tennis and golf.
Being born and raised in Lombard has given her the perspective of the people Kathleen wishes to represent. She has lived and worked all over the US as well as internationally during her time in college. In 2001 she purchased her childhood family home, with the intent to raise her children in the same home and the same city she grew up in.

Kathleen has spent over 2 decades committed to improving US imported products with dedication to manufacturing and international sourcing initiatives. Vigorous vetting of global factories during her career in the private sector ensured production operations from raw materials to finished goods met American quality, integrity and efficiency standards as well as ensuring factories enforced labor, health and safety protocol and ethical codes of conduct.
Kathleen has partnered with numerous Fortune 500 companies throughout her career such as Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, etc.
Special Focus on Empowering Women in Gaming and Military Gaming to Combat Suicide
Created a special focus on empowering female gamers and fighting sexism in gaming as well as advocating for gaming as therapy for military veterans suffering from PTSD.

Kathleen is also being featured in a new TV show on The Food Network following the launch of her “Saucy Kat Food Truck” business and the opening of Lola’s Ristorante. The show will air in the summer of 2022.
Has a BA degree in Psychology and an MBA from Quincy University. Recipient of the prestigious academic Presidential Scholarship; a full tuition, room and board scholarship.
Graduated Summa Cum Laude and awarded the Bonaventure Award for Academic Excellence, graduating at the top of her class. She then pursued further studies at the Technische Universität Braunschweig in Germany.
